Where does the Funding go?

Our mission is to support the students and teachers with financial support for educational experiences and to support the school with volunteerism.

 

Financially, we aim to raise $98,000 and spend $88,000 on classroom investments, fun events for students, one time school improvements and more.

Fun-A-Thon

very Fall and Winter the PTO runs a school wide fundraiser that includes a day of fun for students at school with various experiences. (Events are held on Early Dismissal days)

 

The link to the website where donations are collected (and easily tracked by student) is located on the PTO website and students can begin collecting donations in August for the Fall Fundraiser. As a thank you for various donation levels, PTO provides various experiences and treats.

 

For the Fall Event, the donation level is $10 to attend the event. All students will enjoy a day of no instruction in class whereas students who participate in the event will enjoy outside games, BINGO games with prizes and a traditional walk-a-thon period. Students who do not participate in the full event will enjoy in class activities such as board games and movies.

 

Thank you levels are cumulative:

  • All donation levels $10+ enjoy a dress down day.

  • Donations of $25 - $49 will receive a treat at lunch following day

  • Donations of $50 - $99 will receive large Kona Ice during day of event

  • Donations of $100+ receive 2 periods out of class at the PTO party (treats and outside time)

  • Student Dances:

    • 6th grade

    • 7th grade

    • 8th grade

  • Ticket Prices:

    • $10 (6th and 7th only)

    • 8th Grade Dance is free to all 8th graders

  • 8th Grade: will be provided a FREE YEARBOOK as part of their OMS end of year celebration.

  • All Grades: enjoy a year end celebration

  • Fall Fundraiser

  • After-school Bash Events: 

    • PTO and the School Staff run Fall Afterschool Events called Bashes on Friday afternoons.

    • Students enjoy concessions stand, hanging out with their friends and playing sports.
