What is First Tee Golf Team

 

This program is run by The First Tee Organization of Naples, FL.

 

There are 4-6 matches in the season that take place at area golf courses.

 

Players on gold and silver teams will be able to compete the championship event at the end of the season.

 

Who is Eligible to Participate

 

All OMS students with Golf Experience (must play at least 9 holes of golf independently, no caddies allowed).

Students must try out.

 

Approx. # spots available for 10 - 20 students

• Students must follow the code of the First Tee

• Once registered, tryout details will be emailed to parents

 

Considerations & Time Commitment

 

• 1 Tryout - Tryouts will consist of 3-4 hole of golf. Students will be asked to play by the same rules as they would in a competition.

• No Practices. Players expect 1-2 meets per week.

• Team competitions are lead by the First Tee and schedule will be provided once OMS teams are established
